Counselling and Psychotherapy
Confidential Counselling and Psychotherapy services are provided at Evolv Health & Wellbeing Store in Enniscorthy by two expert practitioners – Margaret Levingstone MIACP, and Catherine Murphy MIACP.
Both can help deal with and overcome difficulties in your life by providing a safe and confidential place in which you can discuss your life, problems, and feelings; explore choices; and work towards a resolution.
Margaret Levingstone MIACP
Margaret sees psychotherapy as a valuable form of help for those searching for change within their life for their own reason or reasons, with each case being as individual as that particular person. She says therapy can benefit everybody from adolescent age upwards, and that no issue is too small if it is impacting negatively on your life.
Counselling and/or psychotherapy with Margaret can help with issues including:
- Relationship difficulties
- Poor self-esteem
- Loss and separation
- Anxiety and depression
- Identity issues
- Panic attacks
- Any other issues that prevent a full and fulfilling life.
Margaret also says the most important thing to know about counselling is to understand the relationship you develop with your therapist. Results are based on the quality of this relationship. She delivers results through developing close relationships with an honest, practical and helpful approach that is tailor-made to a person’s individual needs. ‘I will always do my best so that you can live the life you deserve,’ she says.
Margaret offers her first session free of charge to every new client.

Catherine Murphy MICAP
Catherine is vastly experienced in helping people to deal with and overcome problems and issues including:
- Loss and bereavement
- Relationship problems
- Abuse (include childhood sexual abuse)
She understands how people choose to have counselling at times of difficulty and distress in their lives, and how it can be easier to talk to someone neutral and objective rather than with family or friends. She provides an expert and friendly ear for those talks and helps people formulate an action plan and solution for coping with or overcoming the cause of their distress.
Catherine says: ‘My counselling and psychotherapy services provide people with the space to explore current and/or unresolved issues from the past which are impacting on their daily living. They give them the opportunity to work through these issues in a safe, confidential, non-judgmental and trusting environment.
‘My role is to empower the client to live their life in a more productive way, by helping them develop coping skills, so that they can approach future situations from a different perspective,’ she adds.
Catherine sees clients from age 16 years and upwards, and abides by the IACP (Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) Code of Ethics & Practice.
