We achieve this through our comprehensive Food & Drinks department and also through bringing you a vast range of health and nutritional supplements to complement your diet and bring you the goodness of extra vitamins and other nutrients.

For your convenience, products in our Health Supplements department are categorised by type rather than by manufacturer, to make it easier to find what you are searching for. Of course, if you still require help in choosing or finding the correct or best product for you, then any of our team members will be glad to help by sharing their knowledge and helping you decide.

If you are seeking supplements on foot of advice from your doctor, nutritionist, or other specialist, we will advise on which products from our range best match their recommendations, and we can also offer further advice on the use of the supplements.

If seeking supplements due to personal feeling that something is missing in your diet and nutritional balance, or that you need help in dealing with some issue or condition, our advice can be of even greater help.

Food and drink is the cornerstone of all healthy nutrition and at Evolv Health & Wellbeing Store, we have an extensive food and drink department to suit all tastes, ethical preferences, and dietary requirements.

Whether you need staples such as ingredients for everyday cooking for a gluten-free diet, or are just looking for a special treat like a dairy-free chocolate bar, you’ll find what you’re looking for when you shop at Evolv.
 

Our vast range of Food and Drinks includes:

Teas, Coffees and Infusions

Herbal teas and other infusions can bring many benefits to the body, thanks to the natural nutrients and anti-oxidants in the leaves, bark, roots, berries and/or flowers of the plants that give us those teas.

Alternative Milks

With lactose intolerance issues now affecting an estimated one in twenty people in Ireland, the importance of sourcing high-quality alternative milks is more important than ever. Doing so is one of many things we take very seriously at Evolv Health & Wellbeing Store, and among the milks we supply are:

• Almond milk – Almond milk is often fortified with calcium, vitamins A and D and riboflavin, and has 8 to 10 grammes of protein per serving.
• Rice milk – The most hypoallergenic of any of the milk alternatives, and often free of soy, gluten and nuts. However, it is quite watery in texture and is not suitable for cooking and baking. Another point to note is its relatively low calcium content, though versions fortified with calcium are also available.
• Coconut milk – Probably the milk alternative with a texture closest to that of whole milk. As it is naturally soy- and gluten-free, coconut milk is often a good choice for those with multiple food allergies. It is also a rich source of potassium.
• Oat milk – Contains more calcium per serving than cow’s milk and is therefore a great choice for anybody seeking an alternative source of calcium. It is low in fat, lactose free, and contains 10 minerals and 15 vitamins.

Organic Juices

Fruit, berry and vegetable juices we stock are 100% natural, unprocessed, and organic, meaning you can enjoy their benefits just as nature intended.

Our 100% natural cranberry juice, for example, is much more powerful than the watered-down cranberry juice drink that can be bought in a carton at a supermarket. Similar benefits apply to all other juices at Evolv.
 

Dried Goods/Ingredients

We offer an array of dried goods and cooking ingredients, packaged and branded specially for Evolv to ensure freshness and value. Our range includes:

• Beans of all most common and popular varieties

• Dhals

Confectionery

We all know that everybody sometimes just wants a treat. At Evolv Health & Wellbeing Store, you needn’t feel guilty about that, as we have a selection to allow a little indulgence no matter what your tastes, preferences, or dietary needs.

Chocolate lovers can choose from organic chocolate, dairy-free chocolate, and sugar-free chocolate. We also have lots of other sugar-free treats and healthy snacks, and a variety of soft drinks to enjoy too. Having a food intolerance or allergy is not a problem, as we have something to suit everybody – just ask staff for advice if you need any extra help in choosing.
 

Other foodstuffs

Superfoods

If you already know the powers of ‘Superfoods’, you’ll be overjoyed with the range you’ll find at Evolv Health & Wellbeing Store in Enniscorthy. If you don’t already know their powers, we’ll be delighted to explain them to you, and see you start to enjoy their benefits too.

‘Superfoods’ contain higher levels of essential vitamins and minerals than most other foods, and can also be a source of anti-oxidants – which protect our bodies from cell damage and disease.
 

Amongst the Superfoods available at Evolv are:

• Goji berries – Rich in anti-oxidants and compounds. Used by Chinese Chinese herbalists to treat visual ailments and poor circulation, and to help boost the immune system.
• Cacao (Cocoa) powder – Contains flavonoids, which help lower blood pressure and improve blood flow to the brain and heart. Fewer than 15 calories per tablespoon and virtually fat-free.
• Chia seeds – Packed with omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, and calcium.
• Maca powder – Maca is a root vegetable from the Andes region that is picked, dried, and processed into a powder. It is commonly used as a means to boost energy, endurance, and even libido.
• Wheatgrass – Contains all known minerals, and vitamins A, B-complex, C, E, l and K. It is extremely rich in protein, and contains 17 amino acids, the building blocks of protein. Also contains up to 70% chlorophyll, which is an important blood builder.
• Barley Grass – Contains beta carotene, vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, pantothenic acid, and folic acid. Minerals present include potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, and magnesium. Other constituents are chlorophyll, amino acids, protein, fiber, and enzymes.
• Chlorella – Contains the highest amount of chlorophyll of any known plant. Has been shown to increase the good bacteria in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, which helps to treat ulcers, colitis, diverticulosis and Crohn’s disease. It is also used to treat constipation, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Chlorella has also been used in cancer treatment as it helps to protect the body from the effects of cancer radiation treatment.

Sports Nutrition

Sports Nutrition products and supplements form an important part of our range at Evolv Health & Wellbeing Store. We supply regularly to sporting clubs and organisations as well as to individual athletes who recognise its importance as part of their training regime.

Our range of dedicated sports nutrition products includes protein powders, recovery formulas, protein bars, energy bars, energy drinks, and much more. Other vitamin, mineral and nutrient products from our Health Supplements range can also play an important role in effective nutrition for sporting activity.

As with all departments at Evolv, our staff can offer expert advice on all sports nutrition needs, and our lead advisor in the field is co-proprietor Matt Ronan.

Matt has studied sports nutrition for several years and is an expert in helping to achieve the proper balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats to provide the body with maximum efficiency fuel to maintain energy during sporting pursuits.
